Maternity Shoots in Wakefield and Leeds
Carrying a precious baby is a life changing moment for anyone and capturing those beautiful baby bumps is always an honour. Being pregnant however is a funny old thing, some people feel amazing, others find it takes away some of their confidence. My maternity shoots will be different for everyone, they are tailored around you and what you want or feel comfortable doing, whether that is just a stroll around somewhere beautiful with all your clothes on, or a photo with a bit more skin on show, the choice is completely yours. The price of a maternity session is £225
This includes;
A telephone consultation before your shoot to allow me to find out more about your family and discuss the finer details of the day.
1.5 hours of shooting either at home or at a location of your choice*.
Five 7x5” prints and matching digitals.
A private online gallery for you to view the images from your shoot and decide which you would like as your prints.
* Please note that any shoots that require me to travel more than 20 miles from Wakefield, WF3 will incur travel expenses. Some locations may not be suitable for a shoot but we can discuss this at our telephone consultation.
There is the option to upgrade your package after the shoot to include more prints and digitals, and other products are also available to purchase as add ons.
Price lists are all sent to you when you book but if you’d like to see a price list for the products before you decide to book, please let me know and I will happily send them over to you.
Ready to book a session?
Before the shoot
Before your shoot we will have a quick phone call or video call to go over the finer details of the day, such as location and time, and you can ask me any questions you may have.
We will also discuss what kind of photos you want, and how much skin you want on show. Some people want only clothed photos, others want fully naked. The choice is 100% yours and you can change your mind at any time too. It just helps me to have an idea of how the shoot will go.
At the shoot
I will meet you wherever we decide to have the shoot and then we will then spend up to 2 hours capturing beautiful photos of you and your baby bump.
The shoot will be super relaxed and fun and we will go at your pace. I remember how tiring it is being pregnant so I won’t be rushing you about.
After the shoot
Once the shoot is over I aim to get your finished photos over to you within 4 weeks.
You will receive an online gallery of your images where you can choose and download your favourite five. I will then order the matching prints for you.
You can also choose to upgrade your package at this point or buy additional images.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date. This will be deducted from the session fee, which is due a week before the session.
Do you offer payment plans?
I do! I can offer payment plans to suit you and your needs. Please get in touch for more details.
Can I rearrange my shoot?
If you have booked an outdoor shoot and the weather is absolutely rubbish, for example it’s chucking it down or freezing cold, we will of course rearrange your shoot. However, most other weather types will not be a problem. I keep my eyes on the weather so will discuss this with you when it’s getting close to the day if I think it will be a problem. If it’s an at home shoot most sessions are fine to go ahead no matter what the weather throws at us.
Likewise, if someone is ill and we need to postpone that’s also absolutely fine, but I do ask for at least 24hours notice for this. Although I understand this isn’t always possible.
Can other family members be in the photos?
Of course! However if there are more than 5 of you I will need to book out a longer session for this and there will be an increase in the shoot fee.
I fully embrace pets being at shoots too, my dog is definitely just another member of the family and I understand that they can be important to include too.
